The Gulf1 policy for Letters to the Editor:

• Gulf1 will make all accepted Letters to the Editor available for public viewing. 
• A letter will be displayed only if there is nothing unsuitable in it. 
• No commercial or advertisements will be accepted. If in doubt contact the Editor@gulf1.com 
• Gulf1 will be the sole judge of what is unsuitable for our site. 
• You must enter your Name and a valid Email address. Your Email address will not be displayed because others can reply to your letter with out sending the reply directly to you.  We are doing this to cut down on bulk mail "spammers" from harvesting your Email address from our letters.
• Gulf1 will  not edit the content of your letter. 
• This area is for you to express your opinion on a single subject. Please limit your letter to 500 words or less as most readers and our editors will not read more than a few hundred words. If you need thousands of words please try rethinking your point.  
• To input your letter, simply fill in the information requested and type your letter in the space provided (you may cut and paste your letter from your word processor).  When you are finished, just click the 'Submit Message' button at the bottom of the page. 
• After June 7th, 2002 we will post only recognized ISP E-mail addresses.  Throw away mail accounts like Hotmail and Yahoo will not be considered unless we have had prior contact. .
